Gerry Deluna

Gerry DeLuna, 81, of Joppa, MD, passed away on January 27, 2015 at her home. Born in Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late Renee J. and Cathrine A. Fitzgerald Chevrier and wife of the late Fructuoso Martinez and Louis DeLuna. She was a 1953 graduate of St. Agnes Hospital School of Nursing. The former owner of Gerri's Country Gifts, she made and sold many crafts. She was very active at St. Stephen Catholic Church where she was a Lector and Eucharistic Minister.

Mrs. DeLuna is survived by her son, Robert Martinez of Aberdeen; daughter, Catherine Romans and husband, Dennis, of Edgewood; grandchildren, Bridgette, Sammi, DJ, Travis and Cole; and great-grandchildren, Ayden, Ryland, Patrick and Abbi-Lynn.
