Gerard ''Jerry'' C. Sauer

Gerard "Jerry" C. Sauer, age 61, of Joppatowne, MD, died on November 5, 2009 at his residence. He was the son of the late Edward Walter and Frances Catherine Frank Sauer. He was an assistant sales manager at Bill's Carpet Fair in Glen Burnie, MD, a member of the American Legion in Edgewood and a blood and Apheresis donor. He enjoyed watching Florida State Football and the Ravens, keeping his mind active with crossword puzzles and as a historian, reading constantly.

Mr. Sauer is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sheila Shine Sauer of Joppatowne, MD; son Todd Brandon Sauer of Baltimore, MD; step-children Doreen Lee Bury and David William Allanach, both of Joppatowne, MD; brothers Robert S. Sauer of Ingram, TX and Edward W. Sauer Jr. of Rockville, MD; and sisters Frances C. Bullock of Essex, MD and Teresa A. Lotito of Fairless Hills, PA.
