Geraldine K. Noel

Geraldine K. Noel, age 87, of Abingdon, MD, passed away on January 24, 2012 at Emeritus Assisted Living in Towson, MD. Born in Nasbie, VA, she was the daughter of the late Walter Matthew and Mary Magdalene Powers Kennedy and wife of the late William Jack Noel. She had been employed as a Radiology Technician at Harford Memorial Hospital and enjoyed gardening and traveling extensively throughout Europe and Japan. She loved to cook and watch cooking shows. She deeply loved her family and being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her much joy.

Mrs. Noel is survived by her brother, Napoleon Kennedy of Mechanicsville, VA; sister, Pauline Wright of Jenkins, KY; two grandchildren, Anita Shaw of Lutherville, MD and Jennifer Mitchell of Ocean Pines, MD; and six great-grandchildren, Summer and Amber Sammons of Ocean Pines, MD, Mackenzie Crotty of Lutherville, MD, and Alex, William, and Benjamin Shaw, all of Lutherville, MD. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by her son, Everette Wayne Noel; brothers, Ernest and Aaron Kennedy; and sisters, Ruth Elliott, Beulah Maggard and Reba McIntyre.
