Gerald Dean Stamper

Gerald Dean Stamper, age 81, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away on April 25, 2025, at Sterling Care Forest Hill in Forest Hill, Maryland. Born in Bel Air, Maryland, he was the son of the late Bert Shelly Stamper and Carrie Annie (Hendrix) Stamper.

Gerald was a very hard worker, dedicating 42 years of service to Harford County. He also worked part-time at Stancill’s Quarry. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting deer and was an avid bowler. Gerald had a kind heart, always putting others before himself, and he was a devoted NASCAR fan.

He is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Erlene Stamper; his sister, Norma (Sonny) Starr; and many, many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Lonzo Stamper, Richard Stamper, and Elaine Greenberg.
