Gerald Lewis Tich

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of the wonderful Gerald (Jerry) Lewis Tich, age 84; born on December 24th, 1938 in Baltimore, MD and passing away on April 19th, 2023 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. He was the son of the late Lewis and Virginia (Crowley) Tich and brother to his sisters Jane Holmes and Margaret (Peggy) Hall. As a Vocational Counselor for the State of MD for over 50 years, Gerald’s kindness and empathy positively impacted all who knew and worked with him, and the impact he made on his family was even bigger. He was a giver, a jokester, fiercely loyal, and had a heart of gold. He was loved by so many and a genuine, good person, down to his core. He will be greatly missed.

Gerald is survived by his wife of 63 years, Elaine Tich; son, Michael Tich Sr. (Jeannie), daughters Jamie Rassi (Raphael) and Debbie Lieberman (Mark); grandchildren Michael Lieberman, Sarah Malone (Jeff), Kristina Higgins (Brad), Nicholas Jackereas (Meg), Alyssa Jackereas (Jon), Michael Tich Jr. (Sangchen), Julia Cosentino-Tich (Alex), Gustavo Rassi, Jacob Rassi and the late Alejandro Rassi; great grandchildren, Kira Tich, James Jackereas, Brooks Malone and Aiden Lieberman and sisters-in-law Marcia Goldberg and the late Sandra Miller (Bill).
