Gerald "Jerry" Alphonse Witasick Sr.

Gerald "Jerry" Alphonse Witasick, Sr., age 87, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on December 13, 2021 at his home. Born in Shamokin, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Leo and Mary (Schuck) Witasick and husband of the late Rosemarie (Yuskoski) Witasick. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and worked as a Senior Subcontractor Administrator for the Department of Defense. Gerald was a member of St. Margaret's Catholic Church and the American Legion Bel Air Post.

Gerald is survived by his son, Gerald Witasick, Jr. and his wife Jaclyn; daughters, Elizabeth Ann Foudos and her husband Nick and Suzanne Cleveland; grandchildren, Luke and Jake Witasick, Nicholas Foudos, Andrew Cleveland and Jennifer Eller; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Margaret Boblick; and many nieces, nephews and family. 

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by son, Steve Witasick and brothers, John and Bernard Witasick.

The family will be hosting a memorial mass on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at St. Margaret Catholic Church (Chapel) at 10:00 am. Entombment will take place at Bel Air Memorial Gardens following Church service.
