George Wilburn Lewis

George Wilburn Lewis, age 87 of Aberdeen, MD, passed away on January 14, 2012 at his home. Born in Joppa, MD, he was the son of the late Harry Wilburn and Mary Ellen Spicer Lewis. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was an Executive Officer for the U.S. Government, a member of the Masons and enjoyed horses and camping.

Mr. Lewis is survived by his wife of 45 years, Betty J. Lewis of Aberdeen, MD and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his sister, Gladys Brophy.

Pallbearers were Dave Laubach, Kevin Brophy, Doug Oberreit, Richard Smith, Ronald Long, Bob Trammel and John Roberts.
