George W. Walters

GEORGE W. WALTERS, age 77, of Bel Air, MD, died on April 2, 2007 at his home. Born in Red Ash, Virginia, he was the son of the late Thomas Walters and the late Emma Carter Profit and husband of the late Rose Elizabeth Scicchitano Walters. He was an Army veteran, serving our country in the Korean War. He worked as a printer for a government printing office and enjoyed playing poker and horse racing.

Mr. Walters is survived by three step-daughters, Rose Louise Ericson of Aberdeen, MD, Virginia M. Charnock of Jarrettsville, MD and Judith J. Tepper of Joppa, MD; three brothers, Jim V. Walters of Doran, VA, William A. Walters of Bel Air, MD and Bobby L. Profit of Hickory, NC; two sisters, Alice W. Freeman of Richmond, VA and Edna Hudson, of Franklin, NC; and two step-grandchildren.
