George Thompson Clark, age 84, of Forest Hill, Maryland passed away on December 10, 2020 at Laurel Regional Hospital in Laurel, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Frank and Zilla (Thompson) Clark and husband of the late Connie Elizabeth Clark and Dorothy E. Hicks Clark. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served his country during the Vietnam War. He worked as a carpenter most of his life and was a member of the Local Washington Carpenter Union. He was Past Governor of the Moose Lodge in Forest Hill and was a member of the American Legion in Slate Ridge.
George is survived by his sons, David Edward Mitchell, John Thomas Mitchell, Darren P. Mitchell, Richard Hicks and Perry Hicks; daughters, Pamela A. Talley and Deborah Hicks; 17 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; niece, Janet Leedy, her husband, Larry and their daughter, Lexi; and brother, F. Carroll Clark.
In addition to his parents and wives, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 grandchildren.
