George T. Gray

September 13, 1929 — February 15, 2004

GEORGE T. GRAY, age 74, of Bel Air, died in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on February 15, 2004. Born in Lithicum, he was the son of the late Theodore Gray and Catherine Nash. He had retired after 32 years as the head of the State License Bureau for the State of Maryland. He was a member of the American Legion Post 183 in Parkville and had served as a past Commander. He enjoyed reading, history, the Broadway Theater, and being with his family. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Gray is survived by his wife of 48 years, Filomena A. Chiriaco Gray; one son, Christopher T. Gray of Abingdon; one daughter, Laurie K. Gray of Bel Air; one sister, Jean Norris of Essex; two grandchildren, Colleen M. Gray of Abingdon; and Alex L. Gray of Abingdon. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one daughter, Colleen M. Gray.
