George R. Krause

George R. Krause, age 79, of Churchville, Maryland passed away on May 20, 2022 at his home. Born in Dundalk, Maryland, he was the son of Harvey and Vesta (McNeal) Krause. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and worked as a cable splicer for C & P Telephone/Bell Atlantic of 34 years. He belonged to the CWA Union, Churchville Ruritan, Bel Air Lions Club and TCC Pioneers. George was known for always having a funny story to share and a great joke to tell.  George loved to work on old cars, camping, traveling, going to the beach, shopping for antiques, going fishing and being a grandfather to his six grandchildren.     

George is survived by his wife of 58 years that he loved dearly, Ruth Krause; sons, Scott (Katherine) Krause and Greg (Julie) Krause; daughter, Shelly (Steve Boutlier) Hillebrand; grandsons, Colten Krause, and Matthew Wilson; granddaughters, Isabel Krause, Madelyn Krause, Ciara Wilson, and Bella Wilson; and brother, Howard Krause.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Caroline Bucci and Clara Hollenbaugh.
