George P. Sauer, Sr.

GEORGE P. SAUER, SR., Age 75, of Edgewood, died on November 10, 2005, at his home.

Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Charles Sauer and Louise Knott Sauer. A resident of Harford County for 42 years, he was the part-owner of Harford Carpet. He was an avid gardener who loved to fish and hunt. He served in Korea with the United States Marine Corps.

Mr. Sauer is survived by his wife of 51 years, Audrey J. Haase Sauer of Edgewood; two sons, Robert Haase of St. Michaels, and George P. Sauer, Jr. of Pocomoke City; two daughters, Audrey J. Whitehurst of Forest Hill, and Sharon Lynn Sauer of Glen Burnie; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; and three sisters and two brothers.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Sauer was predeceased by a son, William Charles Sauer.
