George Nowotarski

GEORGE NOWOTARSKI, age 85, of Joppa, MD, died on May 1, 2006 at the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. Born in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Adam J. Nowotarski and Mary Lesko Nowotarski. He went to work for the old Glenn L. Martin Co. in 1939 before joining the Armed Forces and serving in WWII. After the war, he returned to the Martin Company and worked there until about 1970. He then went to work for the State of Maryland as an inspector for Maryland Occupational Safety and Health, from which he retired around 1985.

Mr. Nowotarski is survived by his wife of 49 years, Pearl Lenore Fowler Nowotarski of Joppa, MD; two sons, George Nowotarski, Jr. and Paul Nowotarski, both of Joppa, MD; two brothers, Robert Nowotarski of Leesport, PA and Fred Nowotarski of Reading, PA; and two sisters, Mary Spears of Wyomissing, PA and Theresa Nowotarski of Reading, PA.
