George N. Ridenour

George N. Ridenour, age 70, of Linkwood, MD passed away on March 25, 2016 at his home. Born in Baltimore, MD he was the son of the late William Howard Ridenour Jr. and Adele Mae (Fanton) Ridenour. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he worked in the auto recycling business and was also a commercial fisherman. He enjoyed time at Ocean City and loved Orioles baseball and Ravens Football. He also loved his Mexican Redhead Parrot, Alfie, and his dogs.

Mr. Ridenour is survived by his wife of 18 years, Rosemarie Kay Leeper (Lawrence) Ridenour who, prior to their marriage, he was together with for 12 additional years; daughters, Miranda R. Lawrence of Bel Air, Jessica M. Leeper of Glen Burnie, Candice Ridenour and Adele Finley; grandchildren, Courtney Marie Fitch and Leroy Christopher George Fitch both of Bel Air; other grandchildren; and brother, Billy Bishell of Maryland. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers and sister, John Howard Ridenour, Charles Ludwig Ridenour, William Ridenour and Annie Faulkner.
