George Mason

George Mason, age 75, of Abingdon, MD died on January 28, 2010 at the Baltimore VA Medical Center. Born in Kearny, NJ, he was the son of the late Robert and Lillian Wild Mason. A veteran, he served our country in the U.S. Air Force. He was an airplane mechanic for the U.S. Government, and loved to work with his hands, computers and animals. He was very family oriented and adored his grandchildren.

Mr. Mason is survived by his wife, Ruth Mary Williams Mason of Abingdon, MD; son, Robert Mason of New Jersey, daughter, Cheryl Mason of Arkansas; stepdaughter Tammy Henriques and husband, Jorge, of Bel Air, MD; siblings Jim and Lilly Mason, both of New Jersey; and grandchildren Ateo and Gaia Henriques, Darrah, Rachel and Robert Birchfield.
