George (Jack) M. Cox

GEORGE “JACK” M. COX, age 56, of Havre de Grace, died at his home on February 25, 2006. Born in Havre de Grace, he was the son of the late William Franklin and Clara Nevada Tibbs Cox. He was employed by the State of Maryland, Havre de Grace, as a trim carpenter. He was a member of the Stepney Faith Center. He was an avid boater and fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his family and granddaughter.

Mr. Cox is survived by his wife of 35 years, Carolyn A. Sullivan Cox; a daughter, Romona Cox Toscani and her husband, John, of Havre de Grace, MD; five brothers, David Cox of Havre de Grace, MD, Donald Cox of Havre de Grace, MD, Dennis Cox of Aberdeen, MD, Henry Cox of Aberdeen, MD, and Edward Cox of Seven Valleys, PA; a sister, Donna Jean Isom of Bel Air, MD; and a granddaughter, Isabella “Izzy Bop” Toscani of Havre de Grace, MD.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, William Cox and a nephew, Jack Liles.

Pallbearers will be: Michael Cox, Donald Cox, Jr., Stephen Cox, Eddie Isom, Matthew Cox, and Henry Cox, Jr.
