George H. Wilson, Sr.

GEORGE H. WILSON, SR., age 76, of Havre de Grace died at his home on June 20, 2004. Born in Todd, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Lester and Lottie Hamby Wilson. A resident of Havre de Grace for 57 years, he worked at Cytec in Havre de Grace where he retired after 31 years of service. He was a past master of Stephenson Lodge #135 A.F. & A.M. and a member of the Scottish Rite. He enjoyed gardening and working in his yard. He enjoyed spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary M. Williams Wilson; one son, William Wilson and his wife, Barbara of Canton, Michigan; two daughters, Mary Schweers and her husband, Tom of Havre de Grace; Charlotte Davidson and her husband, Terry of Gales Ferry, Connecticut; two brothers, Lee Wilson of Ohio; Charles Ragsdale of Tennessee; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one son, George Wilson, Jr.
