George Edward Craven Sr.

George Edward Craven Sr., age 80, of Forest Hill, MD, passed away on July 20, 2012 at his home. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late George Leigh and Mary Agnes Greer Craven. A veteran of the U.S. Marines, he served our country during the Korean War. He retired from BGE after 40 years of service and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed working crossword puzzles and spending time with his family.

Mr. Craven is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara A. Messina Craven of Forest Hill, MD; son, George E. Craven Jr. of Baltimore, MD; daughters, Robin A. Craven of Baltimore, MD, Tracy A. Craven and Deana M. Craven both of Forest Hill, MD; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
