George C. Harrington

George C. Harrington, age 61, of Abingdon, MD, died on August 21, 2009 at St. Joseph Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Ralph O. Harrington and the late Alice Deaver. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he worked as a truck mechanic with B.G.E. He enjoyed classic cars, especially mustangs, and spending time with his dogs. He also loved to travel in his RV, but his favorite past time was boating.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Mary Frances Harrington of Abingdon, MD; daughter, Marnie Harrington; step-son, Tom Emich; brother, Charles Borden; one grandson, Noah Graham; four step-grandchildren, Tommy, Sami, Wyatt, and Truitt Emich. In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his son, Jason T. Harrington and his brother, James Bosley.
