George Brooks Sills Jr.

George Brooks Sills Jr., of Aberdeen, MD passed away on November 21, 2012 at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Emmorton, MD, he was the son of the late George Brooks Sills Sr. and Martha Rebecca Ayres Sills. He retired, after 27 years, from Clyde P. Grove Plumbing in Bel Air, MD. He also worked for McComas Funeral Home for 45 years and was a life member of the Abingdon Fire Company. He was an avid boater and fisherman.

Mr. Sills is survived by his wife, Patricia A. Toler Sills of Aberdeen, MD; son, George Brooks Sills III and wife, Jennifer, of Hebron, MD; daughter, Margaret Joan Sills of Bel Air, MD; sisters, Doris A. Sherman of Towson, MD and Carol Graybeal and husband, Ralph, of Conowingo, MD; grandchildren, Rebecca Roberts of Bel Air, MD, James and Jackson Sills of Hebron, MD; and niece, Tammy Cook-Watters of Churchville, MD. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Robert A. and James L. Sills, and sisters, Peggy J. Sills and Mary Ann Cook.
