George Bawtinhimer

GEORGE BAWTINHIMER, age 79, of Bel Air, died at his home on January 25, 2004. Born in Niagra Falls, Canada, he was the son of the late Derwood Red Bawtinhimer and Helen Hayes. A resident of Bel Air since 1962, he worked in golf sales. He was a member of the American Legion Post 39 and served his country in the U.S. Army as a Corporal during WW II. He loved to play golf and watch football.

Mr. Bawtinhimer is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ruth Elma Wacker Bawtinhimer; two sons, Bryan C. Bawtinhimer of Abingdon; Gary G. Bawtinhimer of North Carolina; one daughter, Gayle R. Portney of Bel Air; and six grandchildren.
