Genie Randolph Turner

November 16, 1928 — June 18, 2005

GENIE R. (RANDY) TURNER, of Aberdeen, born in Suffolk, Virginia on November 16, 1928, passed away on June 18th at his home. After his retirement as an accountant with Suffolk Equipment, Randy and his wife, Shirley, moved to Harford County. Randy was a WWII veteran and enjoyed reading the Foxhole News and reminiscing about his old army buddies. In addition, he was an avid Redskins fan and was very proud of his Redskins memorabilia. He enjoyed listening to music, cooking and visiting with family.

In addition to his wife, Shirley Hawkins Turner, he is survived by his two daughters, Ronda Ann Carey and her husband, Timmy, of Norfolk, Virginia and Cindy King LaPadula of Aberdeen, Maryland; two sons, Curtis (Timmy) King of Joppa, Maryland and Robert King and his wife, Jennifer, of Jacksonville, Florida; ten grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Along with his family, Randy enjoyed the special companionship of his dog, Max.
