Gaye V. Mcguire

Gaye V. McGuire, age 92, of Aberdeen, Maryland passed away on April 20, 2017 at her home. Born in Nathans Creek, North Carolina, she was the daughter of Charles and Chessie (Sheets) Woody and was the wife of the late Charles Eugene McGuire. During WWII she had worked at Glen L. Martin as a riveter. She loved cooking and baking for family, especially the grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, and also enjoyed gardening. She attended Mt. Calvary Freewill Baptist Church.

Mrs. McGuire is survived by her children, Donna Testerman and husband, Bill, and Bill McGuire and wife, Melinda; siblings, Iola Richardson, Lilly Ann Neaves, Charles Woody, Mary Severt and Nancy Black; grandchildren, Dan, Angela and Linnea Testerman; great grandchildren, Keith and Ashley Testerman, Deven Coleman and Mariah Stocks; great-great grandchildren, Maven and Niko; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Dent Woody, Opal Dishman, Fanny Dishman and Clifford Woody.

Pallbearers were Bill McGuire, Bill Testerman, Keith Testerman, Danny Testerman, Deven Testerman and Jay Cooper.
