Gary Thomas Slaich

Gary Thomas Slaich, age 62, of Forest Hill, MD, passed away on September 2, 2013 at the Senator Bob Hooper House in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Andrew Thomas and Dorothy Irene Robinson Slaich. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he retired in 2009 from Harford County Public Library. An avid reader of history and politics, he was a Civil War buff and enjoyed traveling to battlefields and historic sites. He was a fan of the Orioles, Ravens, and Baltimore Colts, and devoted to his family and pets.

Mr. Slaich is survived by his wife of 32 years, Lucy Karen Light Slaich; son, Andrew Albert Slaich of Forest Hill; and sister, Debra S. Warfield and husband, Randy, and their children Adam and Chelsey Warfield, all of Forest Hill.
