Gary E. Frederick

Gary E. Frederick at age 80 passed away peacefully with his son, Scott, by his side, on January 2, 2022 at Lorien of Bel Air, MD, after a courageous battle with dementia. Gary was born on June 13, 1941 to the late George and Margaret (Frank) Frederick. Gary graduated from Baltimore City College.  He was Assistant Chief for the Baltimore City Fire Department for 37 years and retired in 2000. He volunteered with College Park, Providence and Gettysburg Fire Department.

Gary is survived by his wife, Jenny Woolf Frederick; brother, Neil Frederick; sons, Mark Frederick and Scott Frederick; daughter in law, Amy Frederick; and granddaughter, Gabrielle Frederick.

Besides spending time with family and friends, his passion was for the Fire Department. Gary was a mentor to a lot of colleagues.

In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made in honor of Gary E Frederick to College Park, Providence and Gettysburg Volunteer Fire departments.
