Gary David Burkins

GARY DAVID BURKINS, 59, of Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Forest Hill, died at his home on December 30, 2002. Born in Forest Hill, he was the son of the late Charles Hilditch and Della Mae Knopp Burkins. He was retired from Rohm Haas Company where he was a regional sales manager. In his earlier years, he and his family had close ties with St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Hickory where his father was an usher. He was an avid golfer and fisherman. He served in the National Guard.

Mr. Burkins is survived by his wife of 23 years, Gayle Lynn Klimek Burkins; a sister and her husband, Dellamae A. and Richard Garry Harman of Rising Sun, Maryland; two nephews, Patrick Robinson of Bear, Delaware and Michael Robinson of Port Deposit and a niece, Melanie Ann Wiggins of Richmond, Virginia.
