Gary Michael Altenburg

Gary Michael Altenburg, age 66, of Fallston, Maryland passed away on May 14, 2023 at his home. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Howard Altenburg and Eileene (Herold) Smith. He worked as a police officer and was a member of the FOP. He loved gardening, wildlife, hunting and was a nature guide taking people on trails. He was a good father.
      
Gary is survived by his wife Miriam Altenburg; son, Corey Robert Altenburg; two brothers, Howdy Altenburg and wife, Sondra, and David Altenburg and wife, Joanne; sister, Cathy Hersl and husband, Leonard; and many loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Debbie Christello.
