GARNETT WILBURN WOLFE, age 80, of Darlington, died at Genesis Eldercare Cromwell Center, Baltimore on December 25, 2002. Born in Marion, Virginia, he was the son of the late Otho Blair and Mary Ellen Hale Wolfe. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during WW II as Seaman First Class. He had retired from his job as a postal worker at Edgewood Arsenal. One of six children, a resident of Harford County for over 70 years, he was a member of the American Legion in Whiteford, the V.F.W. in Abingdon, the Moose in Forest Hill, and a 48 year member of the Darlington Volunteer Fire Company. He enjoyed bowling.
Mr. Wolfe is survived by one son, Barry R. Wolfe of Delta, Pennsylvania; one daughter, Gail R. Entwistle of Abingdon; two sisters, Elsie Pugh of Abingdon; Ina Molloy of Texas; two grandchildren, Brandy N. Ross of Brogue, Pennsylvania; Jaesen ( Correct spelling of Jaesen) R. Entwistle of Abingdon; and one great-grandson, Dylan J. McEowen.
