In Loving Memory of Garnett Lee Bishop Jr. age 51, passed away on August 3rd, surrounded by his loved ones. Jr's youthful spirit and zest for life will forever be remembered by his family and friends.
Born on September 7th, 1971, Garnett was the beloved son of Darlene and the late Garnett Bishop Sr of Aberdeen, MD. He is survived by his sisters, Rebecca (David) Ellis of Westover, MD, and Liz (Scott) Richardson of Orange, VA, his 7 nieces and nephews, and his Fiancé Michelle Harris of Felton, PA. Jr is also survived by his daughter, Shawna Grace and her husband Josh of Bel Air, MD. In addition to his father Jr was also preceded in death by his former partner, Carol Grace who shared in the joy of raising Shawna.
Professionally, Jr excelled as a commercial electrician and project manager. His dedication and expertise in his field earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike. Jr's passion for muscle and sport cars was evident to all who knew him. His adventurous spirit found freedom and fulfillment on the open road, whether by car or motorcycle, indulging in his love for racing and the thrill of the drag strip.
Beyond his love for cars, Jr possessed a diverse range of hobbies and interests. He was an avid marksman, displaying precision and skill with every shot. He also had a deep appreciation for martial arts, nature, football, bourbon, cigars, a fondness for the nostalgia of super hero movies, and passion for grilling.
What truly defined Jr was his youthful and exuberant personality. His enthusiasm and genuine desire to simply enjoy life was contagious. Jr had an unwavering spirit to seek fun, adventure, and live life to the fullest.
