Galen Wade Whitely

GALEN WADE WHITELY, age 50, of Joppa, MD, died on May 24, 2008 at his mother's home. Born in Havre de Grace, MD, he was the son of Gay Elaine Epperly Whitely of Joppa, MD and the late Billy Gerald Whitely Sr. A lifelong resident of Harford County, he graduated from Edgewood High School in 1975. A bricklayer, he worked at Alcore Inc. for over 25 years. He enjoyed vacations with his family up and down the East Coast and his motorcycles. He loved the Ravens football team and had season tickets to the Ravens and Terps. He loved his nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Whitely is survived by two brothers, B. Gerald Whitely Jr. of Ringgold, GA and Duane A. Whitely of Bel Air, MD; and a sister, Patricia Whitely Anderson of Rossville, GA. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a brother, Phillip D. Whitely.
