Bobbie Gail Milton

March 27, 1941 — February 10, 2025

Bobbie Gail Milton (Gail), age 83, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away after a short illness on February 10, 2025, in Bel Air. Born on March 27, 1941 in Baldwyn, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Allen and Beatrice (Crawley) Ricks. She was a beautiful person inside and out who always welcomed everyone with her warmth, grace and southern charm. She was raised in Florida where she met her husband and started her family.

She moved to Maryland in 1981 and quickly became active in the community. She enjoyed playing bridge, being a member of PEO and participating in many other local organizations over the years such as Chesapeake Cancer Alliance and the Evergreen Garden Club. She treasured all of the lifelong friendships made throughout her life. Once Gail made a friend, they were friends for life.

At the center of Gail’s life was her family. Her husband, children and grandchildren meant everything to her. She was a devoted mother who supported her children over the years whether it was attending Stacey’s numerous sporting events or helping Brad pursue his farming endeavor. She took immense pride in her grandchildren and was happiest spending time with them and hearing about their lives. Her final moments were surrounded by family, passing peacefully with her grandchildren and family by her side.

Gail is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, James L. Milton, Jr., son, Brad (Karin) Milton; daughter, Stacey (Doug) Mayer; grandchildren, Parker, Katie and Deacon Milton; Kyle and Bayne Mayer; and brother, Boyd (Sandra) Ricks.

Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation at McComas Family Funeral Home, 50 W. Broadway, Bel Air, MD 21014 on Saturday, February 15, 2025 from 9:00-11:00AM . The service will follow at 11:00. Her interment will follow at Harford Memorial Gardens, 3839 Aldino Rd., Aberdeen, MD 21001.
