G. W. Smith

G.W. “GENE” SMITH, age 64, of Bel Air, MD, died on May 6, 2007, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, MD. Born in Kingsport, TN, he was the son of the late George Claude and Dollie Fay Bowen Smith. He was a master plumber. He was a regular dancer in the Buddy Dean Show and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Mr. Smith is survived by one son, Mark B. Smith and his wife, Ann M. Smith of Bel Air, MD; one daughter, Christine Dearborne and her husband David of Joppa, MD; one brother, Raymond Kyle Smith and his wife, Marlee of Georgia; two sisters, Linda Schmidt of Baltimore, MD, and Mary McVeigh and her husband Jack of White Hall, MD; and nine grandchildren, Marissa Lauren Smith, Sierra Nichole Smith, LeAnn Pearl Smith, Shelby Lynn Smith, and Christian Michael Smith, all of Bel Air, MD, Gabrielle Bethany Smith of Hagerstown, MD, Morgan Danielle O’Brannon of North Carolina, and Cassandra Kaileigh Dearborne and Brad Dearborne, both of Joppa, MD.
