G. Evelyn Vaughn

G. EVELYN VAUGHN, 88, of Forest Hill, died at her home on April 22, 2004. Born in Forest Hill, she was the daughter of the late Hugh Melvin and Gertrude Estelle Ely Clark. A life long resident of Harford County, she worked at the Forest Hill Post Office for 42 years as a postal clerk. She enjoyed ceramics and loved to cook and was especially known for her fudge. She was a very devoted mother.

Mrs. Vaughn is survived by two sons, Charles Richard Vaughn and his wife, Joan of Forest Hill, James E. Vaughn and his wife, Debbie of Bel Air; a daughter, Carol L. Gable and her husband, John of Forest Hill; five grandchildren, Dianna Dill of Port Deposit, Theresa Raymond of Delta, John Gable of Bel Air, Phillip Gable of Forest Hill and Christina Vaughn of Forest Hill; and a niece, Fran Osborne of New York. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a grandson, James M. Vaughn and her twin sister, Lillian Evans Insognia.

Pallbearers will be: John Gable, Phillip Gable, Tom Dill, Dan Raymond, Tom Raab, and Jason Raab.
