Frederick W. Crenshaw, age 85, of West Chester, Ohio passed away on January 15, 2023 at Mountain Crest Health Care in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born in Abingdon, Virginia, he was the son of Beatie and Mary (Bailey) Crenshaw and husband of the late Betty (Woodward) Crenshaw. A former resident of Edgewood Maryland for over 50 years, Frederick worked for Bethlehem Steel for 43 years as an Industrial Electrician. After retirement, he drove school bus for Bearsch's Bus company for about 12 years. He was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church for many years where he served as Chairman of the Deacons, taught Sunday School, and served on various committees throughout the years. He then became a member of Mountain Christian Church. He was an avid wood carver, carving birds for many family members and friends and received many awards for his work. He loved being with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Frederick is survived by his daughter, Vicki (Rick) Odachowski; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Ann Crenshaw; grandchildren, Jordan (Allison) Odachowski, Alex Crenshaw (fiancée-Amy Wallo) and Abby (Ryan) Preston; great-grandchildren, Kate & Kelsey Odachowski and their baby brother due in May and Jameson Preston; and sisters, Virginia Moore and Dorothy McNew.
In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by his son, Gary Wallace Crenshaw; a sister, Margaret Crenshaw; brothers, Charles Crenshaw, James Crenshaw and twin brother Frank Crenshaw.
