Frederick G. Dameron

FREDERICK G. DAMERON, age 87, of Joppa, MD, died on May 9, 2008 at University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Born in Hague, VA, he was the son of the late Edward G. and Della Nethery Dameron. A Harford county resident since 1960, he was employed with Bethlehem Steel for 38 years as a furnace operator. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country during WWII. He loved to travel and enjoyed time on the water with his boat. He enjoyed taking pictures, working with his flowers, and feeding animals.

Mr. Dameron is survived by his wife of 49 years, Helen Evelyn Johnson Dameron of Joppa, MD; a son, Ronald Frederick Dameron of Savage, MD; a daughter, Karen Dameron Dale of Lexington, SC; three brothers, Taylor Dameron of Silver Spring, MD, Wilbur Dameron of FL, and Hatton Dameron of Delmar, MD; two sisters, Louise Barber of Myrtle Beach, SC and Dolores Kline of Hannibal, NY; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
