Frederick L. Wentworth, age 90, of Baltimore, MD, passed away on August 27, 2014 at College Manor Nursing Home in Timonium, MD. Born in Cumberland, MD, he was the son of the late Albert Landis and Esther Matilda Roeder Wentworth and husband, for 69 years, of the late Doris E. Kidd Wentworth. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a Johns Hopkins alumnus. He worked for Westinghouse as an electrical engineer working with antenna design and held two patents for Microwave Antenna Systems. He enjoyed fishing and crabbing.
Mr. Wentworth is survived by his son, Mark A. Wentworth of Baltimore; daughter, Kim M. Thompson of Phoenixville, PA; brothers, David Wentworth of Laurel, DE and Donald Wentworth of Seaford, DE; sister, Jeanette Custer of Joppa; and grandchildren, Ashley Leon of Freehold, NJ and Ian and Kevin Thompson both of Phoenixville, PA. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his son, Dean M. Wentworth.
Pallbearers will be John Molan, Kevin Thompson, Ian Thompson, Victor Leon, Michael Wartman and Cruz Leon.
