FREDERICK BRUNDICK, age 78, of Abingdon, MD, died on October 27, 2007 at Perry Point VA Hospital. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Charles and Caroline Rathgeber Brundick. A resident of Long Bar Harbor for 48 years, he retired from the Federal Government after 37 years of service. He was an Army veteran and was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, Chapter 1770. A long time member of Trinity Lutheran Church, he enjoyed gardening and woodworking.
Mr. Brundick is survived by his wife of 54 years, Shirley White Brundick of Abingdon, MD; two sons, Frederick S. Brundick and his wife, Susan, of Abingdon, MD, and David W. Brundick and his wife, Sharon, of Overlea, MD; two brothers, Charles Brundick of Essex, MD and Ronald Brundick of Jersey Shore, PA; one sister, Dorothy Taylor of Baltimore, MD; and one granddaughter, Pamela L. Brundick of Overlea, MD.
Pallbearers will be Charles Marll, Larry Thacker, Gary Wright, Jeffry Slater, Carl Trump, and John Kahler. Honorary pallbearers will be Eugene Berge, Richard Cage and Jack Cloman.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Disease Association, 1850 York Rd., Suite D, Timonium, MD 21093-5142.
