Frederick Branstone Rosling Jr.

Frederick Branstone Rosling Jr., age 74, of Abingdon, MD, passed away on April 16, 2013 at his home. Born in Dundalk, MD, he was the son of the late Frederick Branstone Rosling Sr. and Catherine Hartley Rosling. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he worked for IBM as a Mainframe Programmer. He collected model trains and was an avid bowler for 50 years. He was very active at Trinity Lutheran Church, and for many years, was Coordinator of the Food Closet at the church.

Mr. Rosling is survived by his wife of 55 years, Idella Ann Tolson Rosling; sons, Frederick B. Rosling III of Towson, MD and Shawn E. Rosling and wife, Mary-Michael K. Rosling, of Bel Air, MD; daughter, Kimberly A. Herche and husband, Stephen B., of Sykesville, MD; and grandchildren, Jessica L. and Hannah N. Herche of Sykesville, Eric B., Joshua L. and Brayden F. Rosling of Bel Air, MD.
