FRED “FRITZ” HAMILTON, SR. age 78, of Parkville, died in Oak Crest Retirement Community on October 14, 2004. Born in Dayton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Paul E. and Osie G. Riley Hamilton. While working at Union Trust Company he helped install the first banking computer in Baltimore. He had worked for many years for the State of Maryland in their Data Processing Department as a Deputy Director. A resident of Harford County for 26 years, he was a very active member of the Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church in Joppa for all of those years. For 20 years he was active with an investment group called NAIC (National Association Investment Clubs). He enjoyed bowling and had bowled in a league since he was 17 years old. He also played baseball in a pick-up league in White Marsh. He enjoyed boating and traveling across country. His family said he was very involved with his family, helping to build decks, finish basements, or fixing anything. He was lovingly known as Pop-Pop or Popper. He will be greatly missed.
