Fred E. Jackson

Fred E. Jackson, age 79, of Baltimore, MD passed away on October 21, 2012 at Stella Maris in Timonium, MD. Born in Red Ash, VA he was the son of the late Dewey and Nannie Ellen Ball Jackson. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he was a truck mechanic for PTL Trucking where he retired after 25 years. He enjoyed hunting, bowling and was an avid golfer.

Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carleen Eleanor Compton Jackson of Baltimore, MD; daughters, Diane Sue Schakola and husband, Joseph, of Martinsburg, WV and Linda Joy Wagner and husband, Bruce, of Middle River, MD; and grandchildren, Chantel Shelton of Falls Church, VA, Dayna Rhodes of Rosedale, MD, Brandon Schakola of San Diego, CA, Jason Wagner Sr. of Brooklyn, MD and Joshua Schakola of Alexandria, VA. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Magdalene Hughes.
