Franklin "Mike" Michael Harris Sr.

Franklin "Mike" Michael Harris, Sr., age 79, of Edgewood, Maryland passed away on June 16, 2020 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland.

Born in Cumberland, Maryland, Mike was the son of Frank Elmer and Norma Marie (Schoenrock) Harris.

Mike was a graduate of Alleghany High School, Class of 1959. He was the husband of Judith Harris for 57 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army, and a long time member of the American Legion.

Among his Family that he dearly loved, Mike was surrounded by many friends who were considered family and called him Dad. When his boys were young, he enjoyed coaching their football and baseball. Many children who grew up in his neighborhood and called him “Mr. Mike” will miss him greatly. He was a true Baltimore Colt fan and loved the Ravens, and golf.

In addition to his wife, Judi, Franklin is survived by his daughter, Michelle Quinn and husband, Patrick; Son Mike Harris, Jr. and fiancé Tracy Sewell; Son Scott Harris and wife Tracie; Four grandchildren; Alex and Abigail Quinn, Emily and Dulaney Harris. Sister, Helen Benson and husband Dr. Thomas Benson of Ridgley, West Virginia; Brother Bill Harris and wife Sondra of Hanover, PA. Sister-In-Law Joanie Mitchell of Florida and Sister-In-Law Jean Newman & husband Bob, of South Carolina, Brother-In-Law Bob Nock and wife Sandra of Florida, along with many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Loy.
