Franklin John Catterton Sr.

FRANKLIN JOHN CATTERTON SR., age 75, of Bel Air, MD, formerly of Towson, died on February 7, 2008 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Franklin Nathaniel and Josephine Theresa Travers Catterton. He was veteran of the U.S. Air Force. A self-employed independent sales representative for most of his life, he was a proud 1951 graduate of Mt. St. Joseph High School where he played baseball and was known as "Itz". He was an avid sports fan and loved Bethany Beach and his beloved dog Sophie.

Mr. Catterton is survived by his wife of 52 years, Catherine Louise Pierro Catterton of Bel Air, MD; four sons, Franklin John Catterton Jr., of Wilmington, DE, Ronald Joseph , of Baltimore, MD, Dennis Michael of White Hall, MD, Christopher Jude, of Forest Hill, MD: one daughter, Antoinette Theresa Catterton, of Baltimore, MD. Also survived by five grandchildren, Caroline, Abigail, and Bradley Catterton, all of Forest Hill, MD, and Gabriella and Jonathan Catterton of Wilmington, DE; and several cousins.
