Franklin Hinegardner

Franklin Hinegardner, age 93, of Bel Air, MD, died on July 2, 2009 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Renick, WV, he was the son of the late Earl Cameron and Nellie Bly Allen Hinegardner and husband of the late Bessie Hitchcock Hinegardner. A Harford County resident for 76 years, he worked for Corbin Fuel Company for 34 years before retiring in 1981, and went on to work for Petals N' Posies Florist, as a driver, for 13 years. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where he taught Sunday school, was involved in Meals on Wheels, and enjoyed gardening.

Mr. Hinegardner is survived by his sons, Ron Hinegardner of Bel Air, MD and Dudley Hinegardner of Abingdon, MD; sisters, Lillian and Helen Hinegardner and Bradford Ruth Cantler; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by a daughter, Shirley Dare Fore, brothers, Ray and Samuel Hinegardner and sister, Gladys Hinegardner.
