Franklin George Monks

Franklin George Monks, age 75, of Churchville, MD passed away on April 18, 2012 at his home. Born in Bel Air, MD, he was the son of the late Frank Elwood and Laura Amelia Unkart Monks. He retired, after 41 years, from the U.S. Government, Edgewood Area of APG, where he worked as a Program Analyst. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, gardening and travel.

Mr. Monks is survived by his wife of 49 years, B. Louise Monks; daughters, Bonnie L. Reese and husband, Gary, of Sutherland, VA; and Joann M. Vitek and husband, Rodney, of Highland, MD; and two grandchildren, Bennett O. and Lillian M. Vitek of Highland, MD
