Frank W. Tyler, age 85, of Lewisberry, Pennsylvania passed away on April 27, 2022 at his home. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Walter and Anne (Blankenship) Tyler, and husband of the late Dolores (Weaver) Tyler.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Frank enjoyed golfing for 20 years at the Dundalk Golf Club. He loved gardening and doing home improvement projects. Frank enjoyed watching sports, particularly football, and was a league bowler and baseball player for many years. He enjoyed drawing and all sorts of painting, and once painted an entire mural on the back wall of his home. Frank had a quick-witted sense of humor and enjoyed having fun and making people laugh. He was very young at heart. In his later years, Frank enjoyed going to the American Legion to play Bingo and dance, which he loved doing at special occasions.
Frank is survived by his daughter, Karen Ann (David) Morawski; son, Thomas William (Sandra Anderson) Tyler; grandchildren, Christopher Francis Morawski, Ryan Jonathan Vorsteg, Justin Paul Vorsteg, and Thomas William Tyler, Jr.; great-grandson, Ayden Christopher Morawski; Frances’ husband, Robert Vorsteg; significant other, Ellen Minichino; brothers, Donald "Jess" Tyler, and Lee Tyler; sisters, Joan Brill, and Christine DiPaula.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Frances Lynn Vorsteg, and brother Lawrence Tyler.
