Frank V. Snider, Jr.

FRANK V. SNIDER, JR., age 73, of Joppa, died in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on August 7, 2005. Born in Atkins, Virginia, he was the son of the late Franklin Vance, Sr. and Edith Lavonia Burkett Snider. A resident of Harford County for 43 years, he worked as a truck driver and was a member of Teamsters Local 557#. He loved gardening and enjoyed woodworking. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Snider is survived by his wife of 50 years, Marjorie A. Nelson Snider; two sons, Vance E. Snider of Fort Bliss, Texas and Michael F. Snider of Bel Air; two daughters, Patricia L. Carter of Holtwood, Pennsylvania and Deborah A. Wittbecker of Delta, Pennsylvania; one brother, Donald C. Snider of Greensboro, North Carolina; six grandchildren, Crystal L. Carter of Quarryville, PA, Adam K. Wittbecker of San Diego, CA, Thomas F. Carter of Holtwood, PA, Sarah A. Wittbecker of Delta, PA, Kenneth F. Snider of Germany, and Michael Carter of Holtwood, PA; and one great-granddaughter, Olivia S. Sawyer of Quarryville, PA.
