Frank Thomas Secret Sr., a beloved pillar of faith and family, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2024, at Stella Maris Hospice in Timonium, Maryland, at the age of 90. Born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, Frank was the cherished son of the late James and Theresa (Lopez) Secret and the devoted husband of Darlene (nee Spresser) Secret for 68 years.
Frank proudly served his country as a veteran of the U.S. Navy, embodying principles of duty and honor throughout his life. He found solace and strength in his unwavering faith, serving as a deacon at Edgewood Assembly of God. Frank's dedication to his Christian beliefs was evident in every aspect of his life; he was a beacon of spiritual guidance, known for his fervent prayers and steadfast commitment to his church community.
A man of profound love and compassion, Frank's family held the center of his world. He was the cornerstone of their lives, a source of wisdom, laughter, and endless love. His presence brought warmth and joy to all who knew him, and his playful spirit and quick wit endeared him to many. Frank's storytelling prowess and sage advice were legendary, reflecting a lifetime filled with rich experiences and cherished memories.
Frank leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will forever echo in the hearts of his family. He is survived by his adoring wife, Darlene; his daughter, Terry (Robert) Becker-Secret; sons, James (Gina) Secret and Frank Secret; and grandchildren, Ryan, Nick, Jason, Katie, Brandon, and Lana Secret. He is also survived by his sisters, Katherine Lorraine Bold, and Mary Rebecca Loewenstein, and his brother, John Secret.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his sister, Victoria Doris Wyatt.
