Frank J. Moyna, Sfc (Usa Ret.)

Frank J. Moyna, SFC (USA Ret.), age 79, of Bel Air, MD, died on April 18, 2011 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Manhattan, NY, he was the son of the late Arthur James and Marie Gibbons Moyna. He retired, after 24 years, from the U.S. Army where he worked as a machinist. He had served in Korea and Vietnam and during his time in Korea, he served with the 27th Infantry Regiment known as the Wolfhounds, and was also the recipient of a Purple Heart. He was a member of the Darlington VFW, an avid reader, and enjoyed playing horseshoes.

Mr. Moyna is survived by his wife of 46 years, Ida Mae Moyna of Aberdeen, MD; son, Kevin F. Moyna and wife, Angela J., of Bel Air, MD; daughter, Katherine E. Goetchius and husband, Michael B., of Mt. Joy, PA; and grandchildren, Fallon Goetchius of Mt. Joy, PA, and Eric and Kelsey Moyna, both of Bel Air, MD.
