FRANK J. LUCAS JR., age 67, of Abingdon, MD, died on July 22, 2008 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Frank John Lucas Sr. and the late Catherine Agnes Seglinski Lucas. He worked as a Deputy for the Harford County Sheriff's Office from 1962-1972. He went on to establish Frank J. Lucas Jr.-General Contractor, later known as Lucas Construction Company, where they also manufactured septic tanks for many years. He worked for James C. Wilson Excavating and then for Aldino Sod Farms. In addition to his hobby of restoring old boats and tractors, he enjoyed motorcycling. An avid hunter, fisherman, boater, and crabber, he especially enjoyed teaching these passions to the younger generation. He loved life on the water, sharing this pleasure with friends young and old. He was a past member of the American Legion in Bel Air.
Mr. Lucas is survived by a son, Frank "Skip" J. Lucas III and his fiancée, Angela Brooks, along with her son, David Carter; a daughter, JeanneMarie Knight, a granddaughter, Cheyenne Marie Knight, and Gary Lee Knight, father of Cheyenne and dear friend, all of Delta, PA; and a sister, Gloria Cook of Aberdeen, MD;
