Frank Henderson, a resident of Jarrettsville, MD, passed away at the age of 73 on May 27, 2016 at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. Frank was born in Wilmington, DE to Frank Robert Henderson and Anna Lillian (Turner) Henderson. He was a graduate of the University of Delaware. His career was with the State of Maryland and Harford County Government as an Environmental Engineer. He loved to ski and loved teaching his friends and family, especially his grandchildren. He served as "mayor" of Seven Cedars for many years, but his heart was in Colorado where he spent every winter and summer since retirement. He loved to travel and since retiring he and Diane had completed their "bucket list" of visiting all 50 states and they were now trying to get to as many National Parks as they could. He was a guest service volunteer at Breckenridge Ski Resort. He was also a volunteer at the Senator Bob Hooper Hospice House in Forest Hill. Frank had a wisdom that he imparted to others and was an influence to many people.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Diane; his son Butch Henderson and his wife Patty of Jarrettsville; his daughter Kim Henderson of Jarrettsville; his son Mark Henderson and his wife Kayla of Breckenridge, CO; his daughter Michelle Hax and her husband Chuck of Abingdon; his brother John Henderson of New Castle, DE; his sister Joan Cake of Bear, DE; and his grandchildren Morgan, Matthew, Rose, Grace, Charlie, Evan and Mallory, whom he referred to as "the Magnificent Seven".
